Lose the Lads’ Mags in Parliament: 15 October 2013 – FULLY BOOKED
Please note, this event is now fully booked. To be placed on the reserve list please email email@example.com.
Date: Tuesday 15 October 2013
Venue: Committee Room 5, House of Commons, London. SW1A 0AA
Lads’ mags like Nuts and Zoo line the shelves of high street supermarkets across the UK. Yet there is extensive evidence to show that lads’ mags fuel sexist behaviours and attitudes underpinning violence against women. Exposing staff and customers to them can also constitute sexual harassment or sex discrimination under the Equality Act 2010. Join us to discuss the implications of selling lads’ mags and to demand action from retailers.
